All the news outlets started posting stories about Apple and a security issue on Wednesday August 17, 2022. This was due to a security update Apple released for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Don't panic.
This is another reason we love Apple and Apple products. User experience, privacy and security are at the top of Apples list of priorities. Yes, the news media loves to sell the story, that's their job right? I have a few customers email and texted me about the "Apple Scare". Well, I am here to tell you that security updates are a common thing in the world of technology. There are bad players out in the world trying to access information anyway the can. Good thing you own Apple products.
What to do.
It is always important to update your devices. Sometimes you many not want the features or OS updated, but that's another story. When it comes to security updates, you should most definitely install the updates.
