What is AppleCare+?

In Addition to making Hardware products, Apple also designs Software and many applications that run on Apple Hardware products.  AppleCare coverage Extends the complimentary Support provided by Apple. Why not get service and support from Apple experts for your Apple Device? Most issues can be resolved in a single conversation, whether it's a Phone Call, Chat Session, or in-person Support*. 

Every Apple Product comes with a One-Year Limited Warranty and 90 Days of Complimentary Technical Phone support using the Apple Corporate Support Line. 

AppleCare adds additional 24/7 Priority Support options and  Extends the Limited Warranty for Hardware Failures. AppleCare+ also includes Unlimited Accidental Damage coverage, so when accidents happen, there are over 5,000+ Apple Authorized Service Providers worldwide ready to help.

When should I Add AppleCare?

AppleCare+ Protection can be added with the purchase of the device. If you are still deciding, AppleCare Protection can always be added within 60 days of the device purchase date. 

If you pass the 60-day mark, do not fear; if the device is still in good physical condition and less than a year old, MacMan Inc can certify that your device is still eligible for an AppleCare+ Plan for a small service fee.

AppleCare+ for Mac Hardware Coverage

 

AppleCare+ for Mac provides global repair coverage, both parts, and labor, from Apple-Authorized technicians. Coverage includes the following:

  • Your Mac computer

  • Internal Battery for MacBooks

  • Included accessories such as the power adapter

  • Apple memory (RAM)

  • Apple USB SuperDrive

AppleCare+ for Mac extends coverage from Apple to three years from your AppleCare+ purchase date and adds unlimited accidental damage coverage, each incident subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage, or $299 for all other damage, Plus applicable tax.

Adding AppleCare+ after Repairs at MacMan

Accidentally damage your device in the first year of having it? No Problem, bring it to MacMan for quality service and Future peace of mind. 

MacMan is Apple Authorized for Service on any Apple Device, by following our standard repair procedures your device will be eligible for an AppleCare+ Protection Plan after repair.  

Enroll in an AppleCare+ Plan within 10 days of service completion to protect yourself during future repairs.

If you missed purchasing AppleCare with the device or in the first 60 days after purchase, a device in good physical condition and less than a year old could be certified by MacMan Inc for an AppleCare+ Plan for a small service fee.

Terms

  1. Service coverage is available only for iPad, its original included accessories, and one compatible Apple Pencil purchased with your iPad for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80 percent of their original capacity, and (iii) up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling of your iPad and Apple Pencil, each incident being subject to a service fee of $49 for iPad and $29 for Apple Pencil, plus applicable tax. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may be new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. See terms for full details.

  2. Service coverage is available only for Mac and its original included accessories for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity, and (iii) unlimited incidents of accidental damage from handling, each incident being subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for other accidental damage, plus applicable tax.

  3. Service coverage is available only for AirPods, Beats earphones, or Beats headphones and their original included accessories for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity, and (iii) unlimited incidents of accidental damage from handling, each incident being subject to a service fee of $29, plus applicable tax. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements.   4. Local telephone fees may apply. Telephone numbers and hours of operation may vary and are subject to change.

  5. Availability of each option depends on country or region in which service is requested and location of Apple Authorized Service Provider. Service coverage may be subject to certain restrictions. Apple may also request that the customer replace components with readily installable parts

  6. AppleCare+ benefits are separate from and in addition to the Apple Limited Warranty and any legal rights provided by consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
