What is AppleCare?

Every Apple product comes with a One-Year Apple Limited Warranty and 90 Days of Complimentary Technical Phone Support using the Apple Corporate Support Line - 1 (800) 275-2273.

The one-year Apple Limited Warranty covers your Apple product from manufacturing defects and general failures. Apple Limited Warranty does not cover accidental damage or technical phone support using the Apple Corporate Support Line beyond 90 days after the date of purchase.

AppleCare+ adds additional 24/7 priority phone support options via the Apple Corporate Support Line and extends the duration of hardware coverage for your Apple product. AppleCare+ also includes coverage for accidental damage, subject to incident deductibles; so when accidents happen, there are over 5,000+ Apple Authorized Service Providers worldwide ready to help. 

*In-store software support is limited to Apple Retail Stores only. In-person, remote, or phone service and support for software issues at MacMan and other Apple Authorized Service Providers mat be subject to service fees. AppleCare+ for Mac Hardware Coverage

AppleCare+ for Mac provides global repair coverage, both parts and labor, from Apple-Authorized technicians for all hardware issues. Coverage includes the following:

 

  • Your Mac computer

  • Internal batteries in MacBooks

  • Included accessories, such as the power adapter

  • Apple memory (RAM)

  • Apple USB SuperDrive

AppleCare+ for Mac extends coverage from Apple to three years from your AppleCare+ purchase date and adds unlimited accidental damage coverage, each incident subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or single-component enclosure damage, or $299 for all other damage, plus applicable taxes.

AppleCare For iPad

AppleCare+ for iPad Hardware Coverage

AppleCare+ provides repair or replacement coverage, both parts and labor, from Apple-authorized technicians. AppleCare+ provides coverage for the following:

  • Your iPad

  • The battery in your iPad

  • Included cable and power adapter

  • Apple Accessories purchased with your iPad (e.g. Apple Pencil or Keyboard)

Add AppleCare+ after Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch Repairs at MacMan

Accidents happen. Keep your peace of mind with AppleCare+ next time.  

MacMan is an Apple Authorized Service Provider for all Apple devices. By following our standard repair procedures, your device will be eligible for an AppleCare+ Protection Plan after repair.  

Enroll in an AppleCare+ Plan within 10 days of service completion to protect yourself during future repairs. 

iPhone is eligible for AppleCare+ up to two years after the original date of purchase. 

Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch are eligible for AppleCare+ up to one year after the original date of purchase.

Terms

  1. Service coverage is available only for iPad, its original included accessories, and one compatible Apple Pencil purchased with your iPad for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80 percent of their original capacity, and (iii) up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling of your iPad and Apple Pencil, each incident being subject to a service fee of $49 for iPad and $29 for Apple Pencil, plus applicable tax. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may be new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. See terms for full details.

  2. Service coverage is available only for Mac and its original included accessories for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity, and (iii) unlimited incidents of accidental damage from handling, each incident being subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for other accidental damage, plus applicable tax.

  3. Service coverage is available only for AirPods, Beats earphones, or Beats headphones and their original included accessories for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity, and (iii) unlimited incidents of accidental damage from handling, each incident being subject to a service fee of $29, plus applicable tax. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements.   5. Availability of each option depends on country or region in which service is requested and location of Apple Authorized Service Provider. Service coverage may be subject to certain restrictions. Apple may also request that the customer replace components with readily installable parts
