Having issues with junk pop-ups or slow performance? Get your device in for a tune-up/malware removal! All computers assessed under a Mac Tune-Up/Malware Removal will receive the following services: - Hardware diagnostics will be run on the machine to check for hardware issues. - The device will be scanned and manually checked for malware and adware. - The device will be checked for junk login items, launch agents, and launch daemons. - The device will be checked for junk web browser extensions and configurations. - The device will be checked for known bad proxies, network configuration settings, VPNs, etc. - All malware, adware, and other junk found on your device will be removed. - Disk checks will be run to verify file system integrity. - Junk and redundant files, such as old application installation files, will be removed. - All necessary security updates will be performed. This service is included at $0.00 for all Macs enrolled in Advantage for Mac Plus, Advantage for Mac Premium, Advantage for Mac Ultra, MacMan+ Protection Plan, and White Glove. Applicable subscribers are allowed one Tune-Up/Malware Removal service per 90 day rolling period. If you have White Glove coverage on your Mac, please select the "Pay in Person" option while booking and your service fee will be waived.
